Each 60 to 90-minute session provides practical frameworks and innovative solutions tailored for government professionals, with a special focus on inclusive design and technological integration. What we're learning: Recent InnovateUS workshops

All InnovateUS workshops are recorded and uploaded to our website. Check out one of our recent workshops like the ones below!

Product Model Workshop Series

In this two-part workshop series, Ann Lewis from the Niskanen Center and Lynn Overmann from the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation at Georgetown University focused on implementing the product model in government technology projects. Key concepts included focusing on problems rather than solutions, conducting discovery sprints with users, prioritizing work, constraining complexity, and driving toward outcomes instead of outputs. Watch part 1 here and part 2 here.

Results Framework Workshop Series

In this two-part workshop series, Steve Kadish from The Burnes Center for Social Change discussed the results framework for effective government delivery. Kadish presented four key elements: "people are policy" (having the right team), "follow the facts" (using both data and points of pain), "focus on how" (implementation structure), and "push for results" (measuring performance). Watch part 1 here and part 2 here.

From Plans to Preparedness: Using GenAI as a Practice Partner in the Public Sector

This workshop, led by Michael Baskin, Chief Innovation Officer of Montgomery County, Maryland, explored using generative AI as a "practice partner" for emergency preparedness and organizational readiness.
